He graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague in 2010, where he also defended his rigorous doctoral thesis. At the moment he is working as an external PhD. student for the Institute of Copyright, Industrial Property and Competition Law. He also acquired educational qualifications in the area of corporate economics and telecommunications. From 2004 to 2008 he worked as a consultant, methodologist, and later as director of the production division of a significant national software company. He has been registered in the list of attorneys since 2010, when he also joined a reputable law firm focusing on intellectual property law and labor law in the position of articled clerk.
JUDr. Kalíšek specializes in intellectual property law (especially copyright law and software law) and telecommunications law, both in his legal practice and academic work. He also focuses on real estate law, advertising law, media law and general civil and commercial legal agenda, including acting for clients in legal and administrative proceedings. He provides his legal assistance in Czech, English and German. He has been working for the law firm Becker & Poliakoff, s.r.o. since 2012.
